The EK7651H is the worlds first 4 stroke power-cutter. A 4 stroke engine offers numerous advantages over a 2 stroke. For instance, no oil mixing is required. As a result you no longer need to mix fuels and oil or keep a separate can for mixed fuel. This also eliminates the risk of engine failure due to improper fuel mixing. The power-cutter also features a pressure compensated carburetor with a vented choke plate.

EK7651H Innovation and Durability

Makita’s MM4 4 stroke motor is easier to start. A clear primer bulb makes easier cold starts. Single lever on/off choke operation simplifies starting. The automatic engine decompression valve reduces pull start force up to 40%. With a noise rating of 92.7dB(A) the EK7651H is easier on your ears as well. Fuel consumption is lower, rated at only .45 gallons per hour. This power cutter also has a smoother idle for continuous operation. The engine has a 3 ring piston which is engineered for improved durability. This also means reduced exhaust and intake carbon build-up. As a result, you get longer cylinder life. Additionally, the cushioned operator grip has 4 vibration absorbing rubber buffers. Last but not least, integrated all aluminum wheels reduce fatigue during long straight cuts and retract when not in use.

EK7651H Maintenance

Maintenance is a breeze with this concrete saw. It’s fuel filter is easily accessible without special tools. There is easy access to the carburetor as well. A sealed cartridge recoil starter rope keeps dust and debris out which reduces wear. The engine has specially treated rods, followers, and valves. As a result, engine wear is minimized and life is extended. Checking and maintaining the oil is also designed to be easy.
