MAX TW898-EG Rebar Tie Wire

MAX TW898-EG 21 gauge (0.8mm diameter) electro galvanized tie wire for rebar tying. Galvanizing the wire adds a protective coating of zinc. As a result it is resistant to rust and corrosion. Galvanization is important in corrosive environments. Galvanization can extend the life of concrete reinforcement up to 4-5 times that of unprotected steel.

MAX TW898-EG tie wire is compatible with MAX USA RB397, RB398, and RB517 rebar tiers only. Do not use TW898-EG specifically with the RB518 TwinTier. Other TW898 versions are suitable for the RB518. MAX tie wire is only for use with MAX rebar tying tools.

Each coil of MAX TW898-EG contains 312 feet of galvanized tie wire and each full case contains 50 coils. Get anywhere from 75 up to 120 ties per coil depending on which tier model you use. Consult rebar tying tool documentation for exact number of ties per roll.
