The Makita XRH10PTW 18V X2 (36V) LXT Brushless 1-1/8 AVT Rotary Hammer accepts SDS-PLUS bits. This tool is a cordless concrete solution thats full of advanced engineering for maximum efficiency and convenient dust extraction. Two 18V LXT batteries power this tool and it’s efficient brushless motor. As a result you get maximum power, speed, and run-time. This allows you to meet the demands of a tool with a cord, without the cord. In addition, with X2 LXT technology, the Rotary Hammer delivers up to 140 1/2in x 2-3/8in holes per charge when using two 18V LXT 5.0Ah batteries.

The Rotary Hammer includes an OSHA Table 1 compliant on-board dust extractor attachment with filter-cleaning mechanism. This helps to maintain optimum suction efficiency. Additionally, the dust extractor with trigger control gets power from a separate motor. As a result suction efficiency increases without sacrificing the performance of the rotary hammer. The rubber suction gasket engineering allows for consistent contact with the work surface. From there, the dust is channeled to the clear dust container with HEPA filter. It is also important to mention that the filter captures 99.97% of dust particles down to .3 microns. Another great feature is the 3-second delay on the vacuum motor. After releasing the trigger, the 3-seconds of extra suction time collects remnant dust and particles as the bit comes out of the work surface. As a result, this rotary hammer is ideal for overhead drilling.

Rotary Hammer Features

In addition to separate motors for drilling and dust extraction this tool features constant speed control. Constant speed control helps maintain motor speed under load. This means that as you drill power increases to keep constant bit speed as resistance is added. Active Feedback Sensing Technology is also a standard feature which turns off the rotary hammer motor if the bit stops unexpectedly.
