AFT electronically turns off the motor if rotation of bit suddenly stops. Power comes from two 18V LXT batteries and an efficient brushless motor. Advanced Anti-Vibration Technology

The Makita XRH07PTUN rotary hammer features Advanced Anti-Vibration Technology, known as AVT. AVT is a synchronized three component system which significantly reduces vibration. More than just a handle, this 3 part system includes an internal counter balance. Inside the tool air pressure moves counter weight pistons in the opposite direction of drive piston. As a result, movement is absorbed and the vibrations felt are significantly less without sacrificing power.

Makita XRH07PTUN Autostart Wireless System

Start dust extraction remotely when pressing the trigger of the Makita XRH07PTUN. This rotary hammer is bluetooth capable and features AWS. AWS powers wireless communication between the tool and dust extractor. When pressing the tool trigger the dust extractor automatically powers up. When the trigger is released the dust extractor automatically turns off. AWS results in less noise and easier operation of both the Makita XRH07PTUN and dust extractor at the same time.
