The Makita-built brushless motor along with 40V max XGT® battery combine to deliver powerful grinding and up to 60% faster cutting speed than previous models*.
The X-LOCK quick change system allows for tool-free wheel changes with simple snap-on mounting and pull release lever for up to 5-times faster accessory changes. It is ideal for grinding and cutting a wide range of materials including tile, concrete, pipe, conduit, and more. The large paddle switch allows for power start press points at multiple grip positions.
