Justrite brand 11202Y safety can funnel. This item is made of yellow plastic (polypropylene). A safety can is an approved closed container that does not exceed 5 gallons in capacity. Safety cans have a flash arresting screen, spring closing lid and spout cover, and are designed to safely relieve internal pressure when exposed to fire. Approved safety cans are published by a nationally recognized testing lab. The testing lab makes periodic inspection of the manufacturing to ensure they consistently meet national standards.

This funnel is for use with Type 1 steel safety cans 1 gallon (4 liter) capacity and larger. The half inch funnel opening can be used for pouring or dispensing purposes. It is constructed with a large bowl opening. As a result, it offers better protection against splashes and accidental waste.

The 11202Y works in two funnel positions. As a result, you are able to fold down for filling and keep it upright for pouring.
