MAX TW898-USA is 21 gauge rebar tie wire. Manufacturing of USA tie wire is done exclusively with Buy America steel. Steel mill certification is also available upon request. With Buy America steel tie wire the melting, drawing, and annealing all takes place within the USA. Often, federal projects will require Buy America products. However, Buy America applies solely to grants by the Federal Transit Administration and Federal Highway Administration. USA tie wire is most common on road and bridge projects. Buy America should not be confused with Buy American as those are two separate programs.

The TW898 USA tie wire is compatible with MAX USA brand RB397, RB398, RB517 and RB518 rebar tiers only. Do not use with other rebar tiers. Also, do not use with any other brand of rebar tier.
