18V Cordless Power

This rotary hammer is part of Makitas expanding 18V Lithium-Ion series. This series is the worlds largest cordless tool line-up using exclusively 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. HEPA Dust Extraction Attachment

The HEPA Dust Extractor Attachment (model DX01) is trigger-activated for user convenience. First, the rubber suction gasket provides consistent contact with the work surface. Next, the dust channels to the clear dust container with HEPA filter. As a result, you capture 99.97% of dust particles to size .3 microns. Another great feature is a 2-second delay on the vacuum motor. Once the trigger is released, 2 seconds of extended suction collects the remnant dust and particles as the bit is coming out of the work surface. This makes the XRH011TX ideal for overhead drilling.

Dust Collection Capacity

The high capacity dust container is clear and provides an accurate level indicator of collected material. The container also has the largest material holding capacity in its class. Additionally, it has faster and more convenient disposal of material than leading competitor models. The results are less downtime. The DX01 dust extractor also has a quick release. It can be easily taken off the rotary hammer when not in use. Additional ease-of-use and efficiency features include 3-mode operation: rotation only, hammering with rotation, and hammer only. A large 2-finger trigger adds more convenience and greater comfort. A depth adjustment guide provides greater drilling depth accuracy.
